Palm Springs hosts Fourth of July celebration featuring baseball and fireworks

The Palm Springs Power will host Coachella Valley’s largest Fourth of July celebration at Palm Springs Stadium on Thursday. The event will feature a baseball game between the Power and the Power Summer Collegiate League All-Stars, followed by a fireworks show.

Gates open at 4:30 PM with the first pitch scheduled for 6:00 PM. The City of Palm Springs will present the fireworks show after the game. Attendees can enjoy the fireworks from the stadium’s outfield grass.

Phil and Brenda Nicholas, the Grammy award-winning gospel duo known as Nicholas, will perform the National Anthem before the game begins.

Limited VIP seating is available for purchase on the Power’s website. VIP tickets include premium reserved seats and unlimited hot dogs, popcorn, beer, and soft drinks. General admission tickets can be bought online before July Fourth or at the stadium ticket booth starting at 4:30 PM on game day.

Palm Springs Stadium features the largest misting system in Coachella Valley, with most seating shaded by early evening. Fans are encouraged to arrive early as general admission seating is first come, first serve.

The Power currently boast a 20-0 record this season and are on a 39-game win streak dating back to 2023. The PSCL All-Stars team consists of top players from the PSCL, a developmental summer collegiate league based at Palm Springs Stadium.
