The annual snow guessing contest organized by the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway concluded on January 7. The event ended with one inch of measurable snow recorded at the Tramway’s Mountain Station by 10:00 a.m.
Four contestants accurately predicted the date of this occurrence. They are Alena Callimanis from La Quinta, the Larson Family also from La Quinta, Jo Wheet from Palm Springs, and Martina Jimenez from Hemet.
These winners will each receive four regular admission tickets to the Tramway, valid for one year, along with a special gift memento. The contest commenced on October 1 and attracted a total of 878 entries.
