We are reflecting on the events of 2025 by revisiting memorable moments from the past year.

Throughout the year, there were instances of both hard work and relaxation. Significant progress was made in efforts to protect small carnivores, and new life was celebrated with enthusiasm.

“We played hard… And we rested hard too. We made big strides for small carnivores. We welcomed new life into the world!” states a recent announcement, highlighting these achievements.

Support was extended to fellow zoos during challenging times, while collaborations with special guests focused on desert conservation efforts. The summer months brought opportunities for engaging activities and enjoyment.

“We stood with our fellow zoos when times were tough. We teamed up with some WILD guests to help protect deserts,” the statement continues, emphasizing these partnerships.

The community expressed appreciation for friendships across all sizes and shared moments of affection and joy.

“We appreciated friends of all sizes. We loved! We’re still porcu-PINEing over this one,” further illustrates the fond memories shared throughout the year.

In addition to these experiences, there were moments dedicated to pausing and enjoying simple pleasures.

“And we made time to stop and smile…” captures this sentiment effectively.
