Time is running out for nonprofit leaders interested in attending the “Leadership Through the Lens of Equity” workshop. The event, led by Janice Rooths, Executive Director of the Center Against Racism and Trauma, aims to assist leaders in overcoming workplace challenges and developing leadership practices that foster meaningful change.

Participants will gain practical strategies to enhance their leadership capabilities, inspire and empower their teams, and build a foundation of effective communication and decision-making. The workshop also focuses on creating an inclusive work environment by integrating equity-driven practices into organizational culture.

Attendees will have the opportunity to join fellow nonprofit leaders for an informal roundtable discussion over lunch, sharing insights and strategies for promoting equity in the workplace.

The workshop will take place at Coachella Library, located at 1500 Sixth Street, Coachella, CA 92236. It is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Those who have already registered are encouraged to complete a pre-evaluation survey sent via email to help tailor the workshop content to specific organizational needs.

This event is offered at no cost through a partnership with Kaiser Permanente and includes lunch. Interested individuals can RSVP at https://thecna.krtra.com/c/LNOGo8WIFkoQ/XMV5.
