Renova Energy appoints new sales director

Renova Energy has announced the promotion of Chad Beckstand to the role of sales director for California and Arizona.

Beckstand started his solar career as a sales consultant at Renova Energy, where he exhibited a strong commitment to renewable energy. After gaining additional experience with other solar firms in Coachella Valley, he rejoined Renova Energy as a sales consultant in Nov. 2022, and was promoted to sales director within a year, according to a press release by Renova Energy.

“We’re thrilled to have Chad back and to place him in a position that we know he will make an indelible mark on the growth of Renova,” said Vincent Battaglia, founder and CEO of Renova Energy, in the release dated Oct. 18. He further added that Beckstand’s knowledge and dedication would aid the company’s mission to educate various entities including homeowners, businesses, nonprofits, elected officials and media members about the advantages of clean renewable energy.

Beckstand’s dedication aligns well with Renova’s mission of enhancing its sales culture and supporting its goal for nationwide expansion as per the announcement. Speaking about his favorite aspect of Renova Energy, Beckstand commended the company’s ethical foundation stating: “Ethical — I don’t even know another word for this company. That just wraps it up in one word.”

Outside his professional responsibilities, Beckstand is passionate about spending quality time with his family and actively participating in his community activities.

Coachella awarded $10 million grant for Community Resilience Center

The California Strategic Growth Council has awarded the City of Coachella a Community Resilience Center (CRC) Implementation Grant Award of $10 million to help further the City’s goal of making Coachella a more climate-resilient community. 10 million grant awarded for Community Resilience Center in Coachella

The California Strategic Growth Council has granted the City of Coachella a $10 million Community Resilience Center (CRC) Implementation Grant.
