Today, Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-41) issued a statement regarding U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle.

“The assassination attempt of President Trump was a catastrophic failure by the U.S. Secret Service. We continue to receive troubling information since the shooting that makes it clear that U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle should resign, or be terminated if she’s unwilling to do so. At every turn – from the border, to Afghanistan, and now the attempted assassination of President Trump – the Biden-Harris record is one of failure and a lack of accountability.”
