Riverside County Coroner identifies woman killed on I-10 near Blythe

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office identified Natalia Silva, a 43-year-old woman from Chino Hills, as the person who died in an incident on March 27 along eastbound Interstate 10, about two miles east of Mesa Drive near Blythe.

According to information released on March 28 by the Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau, Silva was injured at approximately 5:05 a.m. and pronounced dead at the scene at 5:26 a.m. The California Highway Patrol – Blythe is investigating the case under investigation number 9660-2026-00043.

Authorities said that next of kin have been notified. Both the location of injury and death were listed as the same stretch of roadway.

Officials advise that further details about this incident should be obtained from the investigating agency.
