Riverside County Coroner identifies woman killed on State Route 60 in Moreno Valley

The Riverside Sheriff’s Office announced on May 11 that Cheyenne Phillips, a 24-year-old woman from Chino, died following an incident on eastbound State Route 60 in Moreno Valley. According to the coroner’s press release, Phillips was injured and subsequently died at the scene east of the Day Street off ramp.

The report states that both the injury and death occurred on May 10, with Phillips sustaining injuries at approximately 2:10 p.m. and being pronounced dead ten minutes later at around 2:20 p.m. The California Highway Patrol – Riverside is handling the investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Authorities confirmed that next of kin have been notified. The official case number for this incident is 2026-03578, and inquiries regarding further details are directed to be made to the investigating agency.

No additional information about the cause or nature of the incident has been released by officials at this time.
