Riverside County deputies investigate homicide in Homeland community

Deputies from the Perris Station responded to a report of a possible deceased person near Creag Avenue and Seaview Drive in the unincorporated community of Homeland, Riverside County, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. When deputies arrived at the scene at 9:29 a.m., they found an adult male on the ground with a possible gunshot wound and clear signs of death.

The Central Homicide Unit took over the investigation. The identity of the victim has not been determined at this time, and authorities say the investigation is ongoing. No further details have been released.
