On August 20, 2025, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office Bureau of Investigation requested that the Riverside Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit (SVU) investigate a complaint involving one of its non-sworn employees.
According to investigators, Jaiquin D. Moore, a 52-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, was identified as the suspect. Authorities allege that Moore had inappropriate contact with a victim during his employment. On August 21, 2025, SVU investigators arrested Moore without incident in Riverside. He was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of sexual battery.
