The incident occurred on April 26, 2025, in La Quinta’s 53000 block of Humboldt Boulevard involving a golf cart. The victim was identified as Jeffrey Sperbeck, aged 62, from San Clemente. Medical personnel responded and transported Sperbeck to a local hospital where he was in critical condition. He succumbed to his injuries on April 30.
