The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of Benjamin Cole, a 42-year-old male from Cherry Valley, California. Cole was found deceased on July 19, 2025, at a hillside location approximately half a mile southeast of the Elm Street terminus in Cabazon. The time of death remains unknown.
The date and time of injury are still under investigation. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, Cabazon Station, is handling the case under investigation number B251950019. Authorities have notified Cole’s next of kin.
