Riverside man dies after incident on Mission Inn Avenue

A 58-year-old Riverside man, Lee Swift, died on December 6, 2025, following an incident on Mission Inn Avenue. According to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office, Swift sustained injuries at approximately 8:29 p.m. on the westbound side of Mission Inn Avenue, about 300 feet west of Redwood Drive in Riverside. He was pronounced dead at the scene ten minutes later.

The Riverside Police Department is conducting the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Swift’s death. The coroner has notified next of kin.

Authorities have advised that all inquiries regarding this case should be directed to the investigating agency.
