Deputies and investigators from the Perris Sheriff’s Station Investigations Bureau and Special Enforcement Team carried out a Sex and Arson Registration Parole/Probation Compliance operation on August 14, 2025. The operation aimed to verify that 35 registrants were following state laws and the specific conditions of their probation or parole.
Four individuals were arrested during the compliance checks. Anthony Akens, age 40, of Perris was taken into custody for violating parole. Felipe Munoz, age 58, also from Perris, was arrested for violating Post-Release Community Supervision. Steele Aguire, age 33, of Perris was booked for a probation violation. Richard Perez, age 31, from Mead Valley was arrested for violating parole. All four were booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
