Velasco Park on Calle Temecula is set to receive a new shade structure over its playground, as announced by park officials. The installation is scheduled to take place from Monday, April 8, through Wednesday, April 17. As a result, the park will be closed during this period to allow for the construction work to proceed smoothly.

The new shade structure aims to provide park visitors, especially children using the playground, with protection from the sun’s rays and create a more comfortable outdoor environment. This addition is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the park facilities and ensure a pleasant experience for all.

In light of the upcoming installation, park-goers are advised to plan their visits accordingly and make alternative arrangements during the temporary closure. Once the shade structure is in place, visitors can look forward to enjoying the park with the added benefit of shelter from the sun.

As the installation progresses, park officials will be monitoring the project to ensure it is completed within the specified timeframe. The cooperation of the public is greatly appreciated as Velasco Park undergoes this improvement to better serve the community.
