Shakira announced on April 1 a special limited run of United States dates for her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which will include a performance at Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs on Wednesday, June 17. The announcement gives fans an opportunity to see the singer’s production in more intimate arena settings this summer.
The news follows Shakira’s recent achievements during the Mexico leg of her tour. She attracted an audience of 400,000 at a free concert in Mexico City’s Zócalo on March 1, which officials say was the largest crowd ever recorded in the city’s main public square. In addition, she completed a record-setting series of thirteen shows at Estadio GNP Seguros and sold over 800,000 tickets across those dates.
These milestones coincide with Shakira’s nomination to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Since its launch in February 2025, the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour has set new records globally. It earned a Guinness World Record as the highest-grossing tour by a Latin artist with $421.6 million and sold 3.3 million tickets across eighty-six shows.
The first North American leg began May 13 in Charlotte and included stops in cities such as Miami, East Rutherford, Houston, Phoenix, Atlanta, Toronto, and Detroit among others. Across twenty-two sold-out shows, Shakira performed with guest appearances from artists like Pitbull and Black Eyed Peas.
Due to high demand from fans, Shakira added more than thirty stadium shows across nine Latin American countries including Mexico and Colombia.
Tickets for the Acrisure Arena show will be available through presales beginning Friday, April 3 via Citi and Verizon programs. Fans can participate in an artist presale by signing up online before Sunday evening; general ticket sales start Thursday, April 9.
