Deputies from the Hemet Sheriff’s Station responded to a shooting incident in Valle Vista, an unincorporated area of Hemet, on July 19, 2025. The call came in at 6:22 a.m. after a resident reported that two vehicles had been hit by gunfire. Deputies found evidence of the shooting but confirmed there were no injuries.

Video surveillance reviewed by investigators showed the shooting occurred earlier that morning at approximately 2:47 a.m. A white Dodge Charger was seen in the area during that time. Investigators identified the car’s registered owner as a family member of Stephanie White, age 44, from Colton, who became a suspect in the case.

Further investigation revealed that Stephanie White and her daughter Alexis White, age 26 and also from Colton, had sent harassing messages and threats involving firearms to the victim before the incident. Using department resources, deputies determined Alexis White was present in the area when the shooting took place.

On August 7, members of several Riverside County Sheriff’s units executed search warrants at residences belonging to Alexis and Stephanie White in Colton. Four individuals—Stephanie White, Alexis White, Elijah Haro (18), also from Colton, and Edwin Alfaro (42) from Los Angeles—were arrested. During these searches, deputies recovered a firearm, magazines, ammunition, and an unregistered assault rifle.

An additional suspect was identified through further investigation. A search warrant was served on Navajo Road in Perris where Isaiah Haro (20) was taken into custody without incident. Deputies found a semi-automatic pistol reported stolen out of San Bernardino during this operation.

Alexis White was booked at Robert Presley Detention Center for aiding and abetting. Stephanie White, Edwin Alfaro, and Elijah Haro were booked for multiple weapon-related charges at Robert Presley Detention Center. Isaiah Haro was booked at Cois Byrd Detention Center for several offenses including shooting at an unoccupied vehicle, felony vandalism, committing a felony with a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, and unlawful shooting.

Authorities stated: “This is an ongoing investigation, and no further details will be released.” They encouraged anyone with information about this case to contact Deputy Ryan Weber of the Hemet Sheriff’s Station or Riverside Sheriff’s Dispatch.
