Seattle-based brand Ably Apparel has partnered with the Desert Cancer Foundation (DCF) to bring the Palm Desert community together and support cancer care. The brand will host a Shop and Sip event from April 8 to April 11 at The Gardens on El Paseo.
During the event, shoppers will be able to purchase clothing and hear more about the work that DCF is doing, according to Ably Apparel's website. Shoppers also will be able to view artwork from Alina Butina and enjoy complimentary wine from Tanjuli and Mission Mountain Winery.
Each customer who attends the event will receive an Ably tote bag, valued at $25, with any purchase amount, while quantities last.
"We're so thrilled to partner with the Desert Cancer Foundation for the Shop and Sip event at our pop-up at The Gardens at El Paseo," Ably founder Raj Shah told Coachella Valley Times. "We hope that guests enjoy the evening, knowing that they are giving back to their local community with every Ably purchase."
Throughout the weekend, Ably will provide an opportunity to showcase the brand’s unique anti-stain, anti-stink, and quick-dry fabrics through their Filium technology, while shedding light on the important work that DCF is doing in the Palm Desert community.
"Cancer care is very important to Ably," Shah said. "We want to do everything we can to support Palm Desert's community, which is why we're donating 15% of Ably's entire sales from the event to the Desert Cancer Foundation. Each dollar spent translates to over $10 in cancer care to help those in the community, which is why this local event means so much to us."
"We are grateful to our new merchant, Ably Apparel, and their support of the Desert Cancer Foundation and our local community," Eevet Edens, DCF's executive director, said. "Ably is a great addition to the Gardens on El Paseo. Welcome Ably, and thank you!"
The event will be held at The Gardens on El Paseo at 73545 El Paseo, Suite 2204, in Palm Desert. It will be located on the second level, next to Tommy Bahamas Restaurant, and will last from 10:45 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., April 8 to April 11.
