The Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce has sent out flyers spreading the news about this year's Business Expo and Taste of Palm Springs "extravaganza", featuring more than 30 valley restaurants and more than 100 local businesses.

The event is designed to bring the community together as it showcases the products and services offered by local businesses. According to the flyer, festivities are set for Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Indian Canyon Golf Resort at 1100 East Murray Canyon Drive, Palm Springs.

"We could not think of a better location to hold this amazing affair,” said Chamber of Commerce CEO, Nona Watson. “Since we can spread out over the entire golf course, participants are sure to have plenty of room to explore the offerings."

The Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce believes the business expo will set the standard for networking events, according to the chamber’s website. Wristbands enabling the wearer access to unlimited food and drinks during the event can be purchased for $25 on the chamber website.

A standard booth costs $200 and includes two unlimited food and drink wristbands, the chamber’s website stated. However, additional booth options are available including the Sponsor Booth, which includes the wristbands and "preferred placement in a high traffic area." The event has three tiers of sponsorship: "Cork and Bottle Sponsor," "Gold Sponsor" and "Tribute Band Sponsor," costing $500, $1,000 or $2,500 respectively. Each sponsorship offers varying benefits.
