Faith and Cultural Impact Ministry (FCIM) is hosting an eight-week course from Patriot Academy titled "Biblical Citizenship in Modern America" at The Garden Fellowship.

Beginning Friday, Aug. 19, the program will be an opportunity to explore the relationship between biblical values and constitutional rights, emphasizing a duty to uphold both.

"Now more than ever, our nation is in need of biblical citizens who grasp the dynamic unity of citizens of the Kingdom of God and citizens of this great nation!" reads a description of the class on The Garden Fellowship website. "This course offers the quick-start guide to the longest standing Constitution in history, complete with an overview of all the Articles, and Amendments."

Participants will connect with the Founding Fathers while learning more about their biblical worldview, gaining knowledge of the country’s Constitution and its “original intent" as well as the role of citizenship. The presentation is meant to be fast-paced and interactive incorporating what is described as historical facts and true stories not taught in most educational institutions today.

Junior and senior high schools are welcome to sign up for the event, which is designed for those ages 11 and up.

The $20 fee includes the cost of a workbook. Classes will be held on Fridays through Oct. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Garden Fellowship, 38633 Jefferson St., Indio, CA 92203. To register, visit thegardenfellowship.com.
