Renova Energy will host a job fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 27 in their building at 74923 Hovley Lane E. in Palm Desert, California.

The company, according to its website, is ranked among the leading solar contractors in the United States. Its mission is to provide microgrid technology to homes and businesses nationwide while raising the bar for solar plus battery storage in regions where it is needed.

“Join us at the job fair for the opportunity to learn about and apply for multiple open positions with Renova Energy and RenovaPLUS, including solar installers, roofers, field technicians, and more,” Renova Energy wrote in a statement. “No need to sign up, just stop by and bring your resume.”

The company, which has 300 employees, is a leading solar installation company in the Coachella Valley, according to a Renova Energy’s press release. It installed 11,502 kilowatts of solar power last year alone, and since its inception in 2006, it has installed 70 megawatts of solar panels and batteries on homes and businesses.

The company has won several awards and has a reputation for installing solar systems and batteries that can withstand harsh desert conditions and produce significant savings, according to the company’s website.

Research firm Wood Mackenzie recently released data that shows the U.S. is projected to install 11 Gigawatts of solar panels this year, less than initially expected, due to supply chain issues, rising prices and interconnection hurdles, the release stated. Despite this, the company stated that 59% of top solar contractors predict business will increase over the next year, while just 9% expect a decrease.
