Comedians Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle will co-headline the first-ever show to debut in Acrisure Arena in December, according to the arena and Live Nation.
Tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster.
"Can't wait to see everyone in the desert for our very first show!" the Riverside County arena tweeted.
This banner event is set for Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m. and kicks off an action-packed opening week with the Doobie Brothers performing the following day, the Latin band Grupo Firme on the 16th and the Coachella Valley Firebirds with hockey excitement on Dec. 18, according to Acrisure Arena.
According to Live Nation, the tour's producer, tickets for the comedy duo's show went on sale Oct. 21 on Ticketmaster. The comedic icons' Acrisure Arena performance will be the final date of the limited seven-city West Coast run of the U.S. leg of their tour. Previously, Rock's and Chappelle's act was a sold-out hit in Europe, Live Nation said.
The Acrisure Arena is an over $300 million venue slated to open in December. With more than 300,000 square feet, the arena will accommodate an occupancy of 11,000 with programs ranging from live music to sports and family events year-round.
Besides all that action, the arena will be the home of the American Hockey League franchise Coachella Valley Firebirds, affiliate team to the Seattle Kraken.
