Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter will host An Evening with Gennine Francis to benefit the animal shelter, which will take place Wednesday, May 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. at a private residence.
“Join us for an intimate evening with Gennine, complete with light appetizers and hosted cocktails, all benefiting the Palm Springs Animal Shelter,” Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter said on Facebook.
Gennine Francis, the youngest of the siblings who formed the pop group "The Jackson Sisters,” was first spotted at a nearby talent show in 1971. Since then, her singing career has progressed, and she is now acknowledged as one of the most gifted vocalists of our era, showcasing her talents across a range of genres, including R&B, pop, soul, jazz and standards.
The cost of the fundraiser is $95 per person and includes appetizers and a hosted bar. For tickets, visit An Evening with Gennine Francis.
