According to a Facebook post by the Palm Springs Air Museum, they will be partnering with LifeStream Blood Bank to host a blood drive on Saturday, May 27. Donors will receive free admission into the museum and a special edition Memorial Day t-shirt. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.
“Blood Donors receive free admission to the Palm Springs Air Museum! Saturday May 27th at 10 a.m.,” the museum wrote on Facebook. “Donate and receive a special edition Memorial Day shirt! Appointments can be made by calling (800) 879-4484 or by visiting www.lstream.org. Walk-ins are welcome.”
The Department of Health and Human Services wrote that blood donations are critical for transfusions when a person is losing blood during surgery or injury.
