Tickets are now on sale for Sting's October performance in Greater Palm Springs at the new Acrisure Arena, also home to American Hockey League's Coachella Valley Firebirds.
Fans can credit Sting's extension of his My Songs World Tour for this new performance opportunity close to home in Southern California's newest 11,000-capacity world-class venue, according to a news release from Acrisure Arena. The Cherrytree Music Company and Live Nation have confirmed that Sting will extend his acclaimed My Songs World Tour with the announced date at Acrisure Arena.
The performer's My Songs World Tour has blanketed the nation with stops including Atlanta, Portland, Seattle, Dallas, Houston, as well as stops in New York and Nevada. According to Acrisure Arena, the tour has already visited several countries this year such as the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore.
Formerly with The Police but well-established as a solo artist, Sting is famous for timeless hits like "Message in a Bottle," "Fields of Gold," "Shape of my Heart," "Roxanne," "Englishman In New York," "Every Breath You Take," "Demolition Man" and more.
According to Acrisure Arena, Sting's My Songs concert is "an exuberant and dynamic show featuring his most beloved songs, written throughout the 17-time Grammy Award winner’s illustrious career both with The Police and as a solo artist."
An electric, rock ensemble will complement his performance, and new shows will feature special guest Joe Sumner, the release said.
The date is Oct. 5 for the Greater Palm Springs show, the release said, but the time to act is now as public ticket sales started today and fan club presales kicked off on Tuesday. Reserve a spot by contacting ticketmaster.com or sting.com.
