Greater Palm Springs gets to see legendary rock 'n' roll performer Stevie Nicks on their home turf now that Acrisure Arena will be one of the shows wrapping up her 2023 tour.
The home of American Hockey League's Coachella Firebirds, Acrisure Arena is a new multi-purpose venue in Palm Desert that has been scooping up its share of top acts, such as Fleetwood Mac breakaway Nicks, who will be appearing on Tuesday, Dec. 5, according to a recent Twitter announcement.
Tickets for the performance go on sale this Friday starting at 10 a.m. local time on livenation.com or ticketmaster.com, she tweeted.
"Thank you to everyone who's come out to see us so far, I've been having such a great time on the road," Nicks said on Twitter. "We are so happy to announce that we are adding 13 more shows to my 2023 tour! I hope to see you out there."
Altogether Nicks has expanded her 2023 tour by 13 additional shows, which also spans the nation with stops in Austin, New York, Pittsburgh, Savannah, Orlando, San Diego, Buffalo, Baltimore and many others, she said on Twitter. Nicks' tour will enter its second leg on Tuesday, Aug. 8, at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, according to Acrisure Arena, which is lauded as Southern California's newest 11,000-capacity music and sporting venue.
While Nicks may be best known for her work as a member of the rock band Fleetwood Mac, this Rock & Roll Hall of Famer also stands out as a solo act, writing her poetic songs and captivating audiences with both her signature voice and stage presence, her website said. A plethora of hit songs and albums make up her repertoire. Like a tapestry, her songs have many elements, ranging from rock and pop to folk, all of which have endeared her to the music industry and fans.
