Employers and job seekers alike are invited to a free job fair hosted by the Riverside County Workforce Development Center on Thursday, May 25.
In a Facebook announcement, the city of Indio said, "The Riverside County Workforce Development Center is hosting a FREE May Job Fair right here in Indio. If you are an employer interested in showcasing available positions, or a job seeker looking for new opportunities, this event will be great for you!"
Those interested should head over to the Workforce Development Center during the hours of 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 25. The Workforce Development Center is located at 44-199 Monroe St., according to the city's announcement.
A poster promoting the event via Facebook said tables and chairs will be provided for employers looking to connect with the talented citizens of Riverside County. It also recommends that job seekers looking to explore employment opportunities in the county wear business attire and bring copies of their resume.

Established in 2020, Riverside County Workforce Development is a division of the County of Riverside Department of Housing and Workforce Solutions. Its mission is to launch programs and initiatives designed to promote employment opportunities, job training and career development within Riverside County, according to the group's website. The Riverside County board of supervisors started the Riverside County Workforce Development as a way to take an innovative approach to economic and social concerns, the website said.
For those who can't make the free fair, there are also jobs posted and career services offered on the website.
