In preparation for a grand opening in Rancho Mirage, Dave & Buster's representatives say they are looking to fill as many as 175 new jobs.

The new Dave & Buster's will be a first for Coachella Valley when it opens in September at The River, Desert Sun reported. Before that date, the amusement-oriented restaurant hopes to fill a variety of jobs, from servers to "game techs," line cooks to bartenders, a Dave & Buster's representative said.

There will be no skimping at this Dave & Buster's as the location will be complete with the brand's popular combination of arcade, restaurant and bar, according to the report. Kids and adults alike can enjoy more than 100 of the newest arcade games, ranging from "Pac-Man Battle Royale Chompionship" to Minecraft Dungeons Arcade and Wicked Tuna.

"The River's award-winning design creates a one-of-a-kind ambiance in the heart of the Coachella Valley. Dave & Buster's will bring in a different demographic than the typical retail shopper at The River," CRBE Vice President Marco Rossetti said in Inland Empire Business Journal as the company confirmed its plans for a new site.

Dave & Buster's signed a 22,982-square-foot lease at The River, a renowned lifestyle and entertainment center at 71800 Highway 111. The fun-loving chain is settling in a portion of the site once occupied by Acqua California Bistro, which served its last meal at The River last summer, Desert Sun said. Dave & Buster's opening is slated for Monday, Sept. 25, according to the article.

At The River in Rancho Mirage, fountains and waterfalls set the stage for a kaleidoscope of upscale retail stores backed by diverse dining options, a state-of-the-art movie theater and regular live performances at the amphitheater, according to its website. The River is known for enhancing shopping by creating a complete entertainment experience on 30 garden-like acres.
