Agua Caliente Casinos is hosting an extensive Fourth of July celebration, open to all ages, over the course of four days leading up to fireworks on Independence Day.

Events will take place at the company’s casinos, as well as at entertainment, and resort properties in Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs, and Cathedral City, California.

“Our team at Agua Caliente Casinos is looking forward to hosting an extended weekend of fun to celebrate Fourth of July with the entire community,” Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City Senior Vice President and General Manager, Michael Facenda, said in a June 15 press release. “We have events for the family to enjoy together including the roller-skating rink on the Terraza at our Cathedral City property and the big finale, the Fireworks Spectacular, lighting up the desert sky across the entire valley.”

A roller-skating rink will operate five times a day, running from 7 p.m. until midnight at the Cathedral City property, the release stated. The rink will be open to skaters of all ages from 7 to 9 p.m., however, from 9 p.m. to midnight, the rink will only be open to adults 21 and above and reservations will be required.

Guests can bring their own skates for a general admission fee of $10, or they can pay $15, which includes rental skates, according to the release. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and each adult can purchase up to six tickets. All participants are required to sign a waiver before skating.

Throughout July, the Casino Palm Springs is offering a unique twist on the lemon drop martini - the “Red, White & Bluedrop.” This cocktail will cost $5 on July 4 at all 360 Sports venues and pairs well with the “BBQ Pulled Pork Torta” dish, the release stated. The Steakhouse at Casino Spa Rancho Mirage will offer a special Fourth of July dinner featuring fresh seafood, Coachella Valley potatoes, and a berry cobbler dessert. Additional offerings in Rancho Mirage for the Fourth of July include a barbecue sampler from Waters Café and a unique cigar/cocktail/steak bundle at the Pívat Cigar Lounge.

The Spa Rancho Mirage, in collaboration with the city of Rancho Mirage, will host its 9th annual fireworks show on July 4, according to the release. This free public event, featuring live music, begins at 7 p.m. in the South Dirt Lot. The parking lot will open at 3 p.m. and is limited to the first 700 vehicles. The firework display will be from around 9 - 9:25 p.m., the release stated.
