Renova Energy's Tuscon location is off to a strong start in both sales and service as the company as a whole is taking on big projects only adding to it's already firm financial standing.
Vincent Battaglia, Renova's founder and CEO, commented on the company's growth during last month's Spring Biannual Conference where he also thanked communities in Arizona and California for their continued support, according to a June 28 press release.
“I can remember when our 'meeting' was at a local casual restaurant because that’s all we could afford, even though there were only five of us," Battaglia said in the release. "I’m humbled at the growth and thankful to the desert communities in California and Arizona for embracing us and clean energy as we work to transition the world from pollution and war-causing fossil fuels.”
Twice a year, all Renova Energy employees get together for an event that offers food, activities, company visits and informative presentations delivered by the executive leaders, the release reported. The latest Spring Biannual Conference was held in May, as 327 members of the company attended, both those from the Palm Desert as well as those from Tucson.
During the conference, employees enjoyed local food from Palm Desert's Fresh Agave and Anza's RedDawgs Corn and Dawgs, as well as SlushLife from Coachella, according to the release. The event also featured prize drawings, with prizes such as family tickets to the Living Desert in California and Reid Zoo in Tucson, tickets to Pepe Aguilar at Acrisure Arena and more.
Company executives highlighted several important updates, including the successful launch of the Tucson location, the release said. The financial stability of the company was also emphasized, along with updates from the company’s commercial division. The meeting also announced new Renova team members as well as recent promotions.
Battaglia founded Renova Energy in 2006, according to the company's website. Renova is a rooftop solar and battery storage company with a valuation exceeding $70 million, and has a workforce of more than 300 employees.
The company's quick growth has reportedly earned it a spot on Inc. Magazine's prestigious 500/5000 List of Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies for three consecutive years, the website reported. Renova received a substantial investment from SunPower Corporation (SPWR) in 2022, a billion-dollar American solar industry leader, aimed at expanding Renova's presence in new markets.
