World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) will be coming to Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs this fall, making an appearance in the Coachella Valley for the first time. Tickets go on sale for this action-packed program this Friday, July 14, with the show expected to hit the Valley on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Acrisure Arena said in a tweet announcing the event, described as the WWE SuperShow, "Brace yourself for an unforgettable lineup ft Cody Rhodes, Seth 'Freakin' Rollins & more!"

The WWE SuperShow will feature the talents of WWE superstars from both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown, including Cody Rhodes, Seth "Freakin" Rollins, Kevin Owens, Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and numerous other WWE Superstars. However, fans should be aware that the lineup is subject to change, the arena announcement said.

This will be a first-time visit for WWE in the Coachella Valley, according to the arena, which described WWE as the "world's premier and most explosive wrestling organization." The arena recently opened in the Coachella Valley and provides a 11,000-capacity world-class venue for both sporting and entertainment programs.

Originally established in 1953 as the Capitol Wrestling Corporation (CWC), WWE stands as the largest wrestling promotion globally. Its main roster is divided into two primary touring factions, Raw and SmackDown, alongside a developmental roster, NXT, which finds its home in Orlando, Florida. With a reach extending over one billion households around the world, WWE is accessible in 30 languages, making it widely available on a global scale.

According to the release, tickets start at $20 and can be purchased beginning 10 a.m. local time on Friday, July 14, via Ticketmaster.com.

WWE attributes the popularity of its program in the United States and abroad to its approximately 250 "Superstars" that make it possible to entertain fans at more than 300 live events annually, according to the WWE website.
