9th annual RCOE Foundation Golf Tournament set for Oct. 2 in Beaumont

The Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) recently announced that the 9th annual Inland Classic Golf Tournament will be held on Oct. 2 in Beaumont. The event, which raises money for underprivileged children in the county, was announced in an Aug. 9 press release.

"The 9th Annual Inland Classic Golf Tournament to raise scholarship funds for disadvantaged students in Riverside County will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon (36211 Champions Drive, Beaumont, CA 92223)," RCOE announced in the press release. "Over the last nine years of the tournament, a total of $410,000 has been raised to support local students pursuing their college and career dreams." 

According to the press release, the RCOE is currently inviting sponsorships as well as golfer/team registrations. The sponsorship options encompass a range of packages, each featuring different perks and acknowledgements, starting from $500 (Bronze) to $7,500 (Platinum). Individual player registration will cost $250, encompassing green fees, carts, range balls, food, gifts and more.

There will also be prizes for teams placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the best ball scramble, as well as closest to the pin and long drive competitions for the men and women respectively, per the press release.

The mission of the 501(c)3 non-profit Riverside County Office of Education Foundation is to establish connections for disadvantaged students across Riverside County, helping them uncover opportunities for success in their education and beyond, according to the press release.
