Renova Energy, a prominent player in the renewable energy sector, has unveiled an updated version of its customer application. The enhanced app integrates new features with existing ones, offering customers a comprehensive platform for managing their solar systems.
According to a press release from Renova Energy, the key feature of the revamped app is the ability for users to monitor their solar system installation through an exhaustive nine-stage process. From signing the initial contract to the final installation phase, customers can track each step in real-time. The app also provides users access to documents pertaining to their system.
Once the solar system is operational, according to the release, the app enables real-time monitoring of production. This allows users to assess the efficiency and output of their renewable energy source. The application also includes a streamlined referral program that allows customers to refer friends and family.
Renova stated that referral rewards are clearly outlined within the app. A reward of $100 is granted for completed appointments with an energy consultant and $500 for finalized installations. An additional bonus of $250 is awarded for every fifth referral. The referral program extends beyond solar system installations; rewards are also available for appointments and referrals related to Tesla Powerwall and SunPower SunVault battery systems.
Matthew De La Torre, Chief Technology Officer at Renova Energy, said in the release: "We wanted to create an all-in-one platform for our customers that would be extremely useful and easy to use, and I think our team has done that." He added: "It’s been very well received so far by those who have downloaded it and put it into action, and we’ll continue to solicit feedback and make additional enhancements as needed."
The release further states that the app functions as a communication portal allowing customers to connect directly with Renova via email or phone calls. The application is available for download on both iPhone and Android devices.
