The Coachella Valley Economic Partnership (CVEP) has announced that its 2024 Morning Insights forum will commence next week, featuring a new roster of speakers and topics. The monthly event has also been relocated to a new venue.

In a Facebook post by the CVEP, it was revealed that the first meetup of the year is slated for Jan. 10. The event will take place at the CVEP headquarters located at 3111 East Tahquitz Canyon Way in Palm Springs.

The CVEP further explained on Facebook that Morning Insights serves as an "idea exchange" aimed at enhancing participants' understanding of the regional economy and expanding their local networks. While these meetups are primarily targeted towards innovators, entrepreneurs, angel investors, businesspeople, industry advisors and remote workers who have recently moved to the area, CVEP asserts that anyone with an interest in learning more about Coachella Valley's economy stands to gain from these sessions.

Each month's meetup, according to another post by CVEP on Facebook, will spotlight a speaker who will offer an "insider's look" into a different industry within the region. For January 2024, Gretchen Gutierrez, CEO of Desert Valley Builders Association, is set to speak. Her presentation is titled "Raw Truth of the Building Industry."

According to information found on the CVEP website, Morning Insights — sponsored by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians — begins at 8 a.m., featuring networking opportunities along with coffee and continental breakfast. This is followed by a 60-minute presentation commencing at 8:30 a.m.

As per past records on the CVEP website, Morning Insights meetups have encompassed presentations on various topics such as building affordable housing, cannabis industry insights, running a business effectively, short-term vacation rentals and annual economic reports from CVEP itself.
