The Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce (PDACC), in collaboration with the City of Palm Desert, is set to revive the Business First Series. This initiative offers business professionals an avenue to seek answers to their queries about conducting business in Palm Desert.

As per a PDACC Facebook post, the series will encompass sessions held throughout the year at various venues and times. These sessions are informal and open to all attendees. While participation is free of charge, potential participants are requested to register beforehand.

The same PDACC Facebook post indicates that participants in the Business First Series will have the opportunity to interact with city employees from diverse departments such as economic development, code compliance, and planning. These employees will be on hand to answer any questions related to doing business within the city.

According to another update on the PDACC Facebook page, the inaugural session of the Business First Series is slated for January 24, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., at the PDACC offices located at 72559 Hwy 111 in Palm Desert. The second session has been scheduled for April 24, 2024, during the same hours and at the same location.

The PDACC website states that the chamber hosts several regular events for individuals conducting business in Palm Desert. Among these is the Profit Connection Lunch which takes place on the last Thursday of each month with an aim to foster networking. Additionally, there's also a Business Breakfast held on every second Tuesday of alternate months featuring updates from a city council member, a chamber update and a presentation by a speaker or panel of speakers.
