Residents of Palm Springs are eagerly anticipating the upcoming annual ONE-PS Picnic & Community Expo scheduled for Saturday, March 23. The event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., promises a delightful experience for all attendees.

Attendees can look forward to a complimentary lunch from four renowned Palm Springs eateries, accompanied by engaging music and a diverse range of informational booths showcasing local businesses, City services, Commissions, and neighborhood organizations. The festivities will also feature exciting activities such as free balloon rides (weather permitting), face painting, children's activities, games, crafts, and a youth hoops contest with attractive prizes courtesy of Palm Springs Parks and Recreation.

A highlight of the event will be the beloved pooch costume contest, judged by Cathy Mills, the wife of Palm Springs Police Chief Andy Mills. Categories for the contest include "Cutest," "Most Original," and "Funniest," adding a fun and lively element to the day's activities.

Furthermore, the LifeStream Blood Bank Bloodmobile will be present at the event to collect donations. Those interested in making appointments for donations can do so by calling 800-879-4484 or visiting lstream.org/palmsprings.

Mayor Jeffrey Bernstein expressed his gratitude towards the ONE-PS neighborhood organizations for their dedication to enhancing the quality of life in Palm Springs.
