A decision is set to be made on Tuesday regarding a new 30-year lease agreement for the operation of Lake Cahuilla Veterans Regional Park. The proposal aims to secure the park's future as an integral part of the Coachella Valley and Riverside County community.
Perez acknowledged the efforts of three key agencies involved in this process: the Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District, the Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD), and the United States Bureau of Reclamation. He anticipates receiving support from his colleagues at Tuesday's Riverside County Board of Supervisors meeting.
The agreement will also be presented to the CVWD Board of Directors for approval on the same day.
