Riverside County Fair expands schedule for National Date Festival in 2025

The Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival, presented by Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, is set to expand its schedule in 2025. The festival will run from February 13 to March 2, extending its duration from ten days to thirteen. It will be closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, except for Presidents Day on February 17.

Chris Pickering, CEO of Pickering Events LLC, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion: “Our community has shown incredible support for the Fair & Date Fest. Expanding to three weekends gives even more opportunities for visitors to enjoy the food, entertainment, and traditions that make this event special.”

The festival promises a variety of attractions beyond carnival rides and live performances. Visitors can expect over 40 date-inspired foods such as date al pastor tacos and date beer-battered corn dogs.

Entertainment highlights include Monster Trucks on February 14 and 15, a Demo Derby on February 16, Out at the Fair on February 15, a President’s Day Parade on February 17, Gran Jaripeo-Tardeada featuring Banda Maguey and others on February 22, and PRCA Pro Rodeo events on February 28 and March 1.

Tickets are currently available for purchase with discounts offered before February 13. The fair takes place annually at the Riverside County Fairgrounds in Indio, California.
