Suspect arrested in Riverside County for alleged sex crimes against minors

Deputies from the Thermal Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of sexual assault involving a juvenile female on May 23, 2025. According to investigators, it was discovered that the suspect had contacted several underage females and allegedly offered illegal substances in exchange for sex. Multiple underage victims were identified throughout Riverside County during the investigation.

The suspect, Jesse James Garcia-Airada, a 28-year-old resident of Palm Springs, was located with assistance from the Palm Springs Police Department on November 13, 2025. He was taken into custody without incident in the area of South Palm Canyon and Linden Way in Palm Springs.

Following his arrest, investigators served a search warrant at Garcia-Airada’s residence on Lawrence Crossley Road. He was then booked into the John Benoit Detention Center without bail for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and other related child sexual assault offenses.

Riverside Sheriff’s investigators believe there may be additional victims. “Riverside Sheriff’s investigators believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with any additional information to contact Investigator Christine Davis-Arden at the Thermal Sheriff’s Station by calling (760) 863-8990.
