The California Highway Patrol is investigating the death of a 14-year-old boy, Gavin Carrillo, who passed away on June 12, 2025. The incident occurred in Woodcrest, California.

Gavin Carrillo was a resident of Riverside, California. According to official records, the time of injury was noted at 6:04 AM and the time of death was recorded at 6:16 AM. The location where the injury took place was approximately 100 feet east of Gardner Avenue on westbound Krameria Avenue. His death occurred about 20 feet from that spot.

The case is being handled by the California Highway Patrol’s Riverside division under investigation number 250612IN0102. All inquiries regarding this matter should be directed to the investigating agency.
