Temalpakh Farm, an initiative of the Augustine Band of Cahuilla Indians, will collaborate with RSBCIHI’s “Rooted Relatives” program to host a Community Feed and Cultural Workshop on Monday, March 30, 2026. The event will take place at the Temalpakh Farm Education Center in Coachella from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The public is invited to attend this free community gathering, which will feature native foods prepared using organic harvests and indigenous ingredients. Attendees can also participate in a traditional leather pouch-making workshop led by artist Tony Soares. Additional activities include creating seed bombs and making sand art.
This partnership between Temalpakh Farm and the “Rooted Relatives” program aims to promote food sovereignty and land stewardship within the community.
