The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is inviting the public to help select a name for its newest patas monkey. The female infant, born on May 3, 2025, is now the third generation of females in her troop. According to her Animal Care team, she has shown curiosity and energy as she learns from both her mother and grandmother. Observers can often see her exploring the habitat or playing with other monkeys.

The zoo will hold a naming contest for the young monkey from November 1 through November 11.
