Touch-A-Truck Community Safety Fair set for January 24 in Cathedral City

Assemblymember Greg Wallis will host a free community event called Touch-A-Truck: Community Safety Fair on Saturday, January 24. The event is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Panorama Park in Cathedral City.

The fair aims to provide public safety education and encourage engagement between families and local first responders. Activities planned for the day include emergency vehicle displays, interactive activities for children, car seat safety checks, and safety demonstrations.

Several agencies will participate in the event, including the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol, CAL FIRE, and the Coachella Valley Mosquito & Vector Control District. The Mosquito & Vector Control District will also present a drone display.
