“Our coaches and staff are dedicated to providing the best possible environment for our student-athletes to thrive, and Chairman Darrel Mike’s donation reinforces this mission,” said the CVUSD. “These helmets will also boost team pride and engagement among our students, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie that goes beyond the playing field. When our students wear these helmets, they will carry with them the knowledge that their community believes in them and supports their dreams.”

This donation not only supports student safety but also fosters a sense of unity and community support among student-athletes, reinforcing the dedication of coaches and staff to creating a thriving environment.

According to the CVUSD, the helmets will be distributed to Coachella Valley High School, Desert Mirage High School, and West Shores High School. Described as professional-quality, these helmets are expected to “leave a lasting impact on our schools, our students, and our community.” The CVUSD emphasized that these helmets symbolize a commitment to prioritizing the safety of student-athletes above all else.
