Two Perris residents arrested after $75K theft from cargo trailers

On August 25, 2025, deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of grand theft at a business on the 20000 block of Krameria Avenue in unincorporated Riverside County. The incident involved the theft of property valued at thousands of dollars from cargo trailers.

During their investigation, deputies identified a vehicle and two suspects connected to the crime. Brayan Cardenas, 27, and Eduardo Urena, 20, both residents of Perris, were arrested at the scene for their alleged involvement in the thefts.

With support from the Perris Station Robbery and Burglary Suppression Team, authorities served a search warrant at a residence on Palma Bonita Lane in Perris. According to officials, they recovered about $75,000 worth of stolen property as well as two firearms, ammunition, U.S. currency, and cocaine during the search.

Cardenas was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on charges including grand theft, conspiracy, and possession of a controlled substance. Urena was also booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for grand theft and conspiracy.
