United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire (UCPIE) will mark its 40th anniversary with a community event on August 5, 2025. The UCPIE 40th Brrr-thday Bash will be held at the Berger Foundation Iceplex, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The celebration is open to the public and promises a range of activities.

The event offers free admission for up to 250 guests who RSVP in advance. Attendees can enjoy complimentary ice skating, including free skate rentals and aids for beginners. Other highlights include gelato, snacks, Agua Fresca on the upstairs viewing deck, an appearance by Firebirds mascot Fuego, and an opportunity drawing with prizes from local businesses.

“Our 40th anniversary is not just a celebration—it’s a tribute to the incredible families, volunteers, and community members who have made UCPIE’s work possible,” said John Sprogis, President & CEO of UCPIE. “We’re honored to host this event at the Berger Foundation Iceplex.”

UCPIE seeks donations for the opportunity drawing. Items such as gift cards and experience packages are welcome to support their programs.

For more information or to RSVP, visit www.ucpie.org or contact them via email.

UCPIE has been supporting people with disabilities in Coachella Valley through various programs for four decades. The Berger Foundation Iceplex serves as a year-round venue for skating and training activities. Meanwhile, One Valley Foundation focuses on creating opportunities in sports across Coachella Valley.
