Coroner’s office has reported the death of an unidentified male on July 24, 2025. The individual was found deceased at a location approximately 100 feet south of eastbound Interstate 10, one mile west of the Cactus City Rest Area.

The time of death was recorded at 10:12 hours, with the injury occurring shortly before at 09:55 hours on the same day. Details such as name, age, and city of residence remain pending identification.

The California Highway Patrol is handling the investigation under case number 250724IC0105. Further information regarding this incident can be obtained from the investigating agency.
