A fatal incident is under investigation following the death of an unidentified female on July 24, 2025. The California Highway Patrol is handling the case, registered under Investigation #250724IC0105.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:55 AM near the eastbound I-10, one mile west of the Cactus City Rest Area. The woman was pronounced dead at 10:12 AM at the same location.
