Warby Parker announced on March 30 that it will open a new retail location at The Shops on El Paseo in Palm Desert, with the official opening set for April 4. This marks the eyewear brand’s first store in the Coachella Valley and continues its expansion across North America.
The new El Paseo store is designed to reflect Warby Parker’s clean and inviting aesthetic. It will offer a full assortment of glasses and sunglasses starting at $95, third-party contact lenses, and accessories. Eye exams are expected to be available in the future. The location will also feature custom artwork created in collaboration with California-based artist Wyatt Hersey, providing a local element to the store’s design. Shoppers visiting on opening day will receive a gift with purchase custom postcard.
Customers can choose between in-store pickup or home delivery for their purchases. Warby Parker said it aims to provide a seamless and flexible shopping experience for all visitors.
The company confirmed that its Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program will be active at the new location, ensuring that for every pair of glasses sold, another is distributed to someone in need. Customers purchasing two or more pairs of prescription frames will receive 15% off their selections.
The addition of Warby Parker adds to The Shops on El Paseo’s retail offerings. The center will also soon welcome RH, an upscale home furnishings retailer. More information about Warby Parker can be found as listed on the company’s official website.
