SBEMP Attorneys, in collaboration with Palm Springs Life, is set to host the annual Women Who Lead luncheon. The event will take place on May 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage. This occasion celebrates three women whose contributions are significantly impacting the Coachella Valley and beyond.

The 2025 honorees include Theresa Maggio, Senior Director of Annual Giving and Circle of Stars at Eisenhower Health Foundation; Gana Wingard, Curator of Conservation for Mongolia at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens; and Sharrissa Iqbal, Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at Palm Springs Art Museum.

Proceeds from the luncheon will support Think Together, a nonprofit organization that collaborates with Coachella Valley schools to provide educational programs. Since its founding in 1997, Think Together has served over 107,000 students across ten California counties.

The keynote speaker for the event is Mädchen Amick, an actor and mental health advocate. She is also the co-founder and president of the Don’t MiND Me Foundation, which aims to reduce stigma around mental illness and improve access to care.

Tickets for this event are currently available for purchase. More information can be found on Palm Springs Life’s website.
